  • Trulia User
"Public transit around here is terrible but it’s there in the form of trolleys and buses. You definitely want to have a car. "
  • A local
"Every 4th of July there is a parade that happens in the area. Westbrook Park is a great area of Upper Darby and highly desired. There is also a new middle school being built for the area as well so that’s yet another perk for this community. "
  • Rosguerrero.rpgp
"My neighborhood is very quiet, nice and clean. My neighborhood is very beautiful and warming. The people in my neighborhood are very friendly and welcoming."
  • Apple-ann

"westbrook park takes pride in being family -oriented and close-knit...It's a quaint little area that has a lot of character and will go all out for Holidays ...especially 4th of July festivities ...It's a great place to grow up for children..they will have plenty of friends!"
  • Trulia User
"Train line is local and it’s an easy commute to Philly. Wawa/Media line is a walking distance from my house"
  • Trulia User
"You’ll see people walking their dogs all the time. Many dogs are trained and kid friendly if just passing by so no need to be caught off guard in that manner. Much of the time people do pick up after their dogs. I feel like it’s always one offs that you’ll notice someone did not however, I feel they may not be from around the neighborhood really. "
  • Trulia User
"Train runs through the neighborhood and has two stations. There is also 2 bus routes near the area. The city is a 30 min drive do to traffic but not too bad "
  • Trulia User
"The neighborhood is clean and peaceful. You feel safe waking down the street at late at night. There’s also many children in the neighborhood as well so any family with children will definitely find that to be a huge plus. "
  • Trulia User
"Everyone seems to take care of there own dogs. The only time I see loose dogs ì if they happened to get out of their yard or off their leash. All of the dog owners I have met are friendly. "
  • Trulia User
"we live so close to stores … you never need to use a vehicle if you choose not to neighbors are friendly and everyone pretty much know each other"

"Annual holiday events, a few local organizations having sales, and government based meetings during election periods. The 4th of July celebration is very cute."
  • Derrickandkyragordon
"Nothing. Neighbors barely speak, very few kids come out for trick-or-treating, and there are no neighborhood events. "
  • Kshitiz S.
"Safe and good feeling while walking. Nearby YMCA. Several parks and good grocery stores. Nearby tennis courts. "
  • Austintgeiffjn
"Cops are nice but give out petty fines very liberally. Bad neighborhoods are very close. Don’t leave anything in your vehicle at all. Police get bored and fill time time with fines...parking with driver side to curb , trash not put out on time or too early or cans out too long, grass more than 3” leaves not cleared, loud public transit, train horns, fire company alarms for curfew and other meaningless things, a lot of traffic , very high taxes"
  • Ashley I.
"The school district definitely isn’t what it used to be and the taxes are high for nothing. The elementary school is great but after that, I’d look to move to a different district. "
  • Bree.capone
"Football food and the neighborhood a lot of people are friendly towards one another and the local food is amazing "
  • Francine G.
"Easy commute to anywhere. Train, trolley, very accommodating. I don’t drive, so Aldan is perfect for me."
  • Lula K.
"great community. very clean and quite, easy commute, lots of shopping and stores. Everyone is very sociable and friendly. the security is wonderful. The deck is wonderful and great for the plants."
  • Quiana K.
"the commute is great and there ste 3 forms of public transportation that makes it very convenient for non-drivers."
  • Poe
"4th of July fireworks, Food truck events, carnival. Seems that they constantly have something 👍🏻 I like our Facebook page, keep everyone in the know of lost pets, and other things locally. Losing power, when it comes back up. Neighborly advise or rants. Great location for restaurants, pizza and sub places. Pharmacy is just around the corner and 7-eleven. "
  • Shinobiats
"Quite peaceful neighborhood. Close to access roads and transportation. 10 minutes away from the airport and major highways. "
  • Cliftonian
"I’ve lived here for almost 15 years and it’s a nice community. It’s a central point to everything... train to the city is just 3 blocks from my house, trolley a block away that take you anywhere from Collingdale to 69th street. Within 2 minutes you can be at Rite Aid, Clam Tavern, Romarcos restaurant, K-Mart, Walt’s pizza and like 4 other pizza places, 7 food places, 4 diners, Home Depo, Acme, Giant. And that’s just thinking on top of my head. It’s a Great location! Also, very family and kid oriented, have sports for kids with great coaches! "
  • David R.
"Aldan is a pet friendly place to live. A lot of dog owners mostly and you see them out walking all the time. "
  • PB
"Neighborhood has sidewalks and is easy to walk dogs and there’s woods directly behind our home which is great to talk to the out and play with them near the creek. "
  • Kaikarema D.
"It’s beautiful and well kept and friendly. The crime rate is a lot lower than the city. I wouldn’t mind living in this area long term. This is a ideal place to raise a family."
  • Nonnahsjk
"!any places to walk your dog short or long walks there is always someone walking their dog around the neighborhood."
  • Angel W.
"nice neighborhood, very diverse community, good schools and safe, convenient to all stores and public transportation "
  • Vanessa P.
"I've lived in Clifton Heights since October 2012. it has its issued issues but I've come to like the area"
  • Amanda T.
"It’s fairly safe. Traffic sucks, trains ruin everything. The trains interrupt the traffic flow on the street. Seems like the area wasn’t built to accommodate the population size of today."
  • Miranda4950
"I"ve lived here for 2 years i love it out here is some calm and peaceful... and close to alot of stores "
