My son attended K-2nd grade here, and I couldn't have asked for a better school experience. Mrs McGregor (K) and Ms Murphy (2nd) are the types of teachers most only dream about getting. They made my son LOVE learning and clearly did their part in helping me shape and mold my son into a reading rock star! They made my feel confident that my son was being taken care of and getting the education he should. The school as awhile does a great good at making it feel like one big family. We are moving this summer and the hardest part about leaving is going to be leaving Sheilds Elemnetary. But I am confident in the educational foundation they built for my son.

"Skinny country roads with trees shading a country bridge. Always wave to your neighbor, whether you know their names or not- it’s polite! No businesses in Oak Leaf, only residential. "

"We are country. Far enough from the big city but close enough to travel. We all have acreage sites which wis rare these days. Not too many community events. No HOAs. Only City Ordinances and codes. "
