2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a community school that can not succeed with out parents doing their part. It's sad, the parents of the students who attend this school are not involved. My daughter is a Spe. Ed 5th grader at Sands, and is doing well, and has made progress since her enrollment late September. She has a great teacher who has zero tolerance for ignorance, bullying, or unkind children in classroom. Her teacher is dedicated to ensuring no one will steal my child's education, not on her watch. Parents can not rely solely on the school to educate their children or child. Learning does not end when the bell rings at 3:00. It starts at home. Get off your butts, parent your kids people. Why should my child's learning be disrupted by a student that has no home training, and severe behavioral issues. Parent you kids, and stop bling the school for lazy parents who don't want to do their job. This a a good school that can be a great school with the help of the parents making sure their kids NOT the one disrupting my child's learning process. The teachers great, Administration, awesome and invested in kids. Mr. Heredia, doing his best with what he has, and the cards he has been dealt.Parent Review10y ago - Milner School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 3 children that goes to this school for me it is an excellent school. one of my children seem to bee have getting into a lot of fights and has a lot of anger problems but working with her teachers, the principal and the counselors at the school. My child went from 3-4 referrals a week to 0 referral in the past month they have helped her see the light sort of speak she's not perfect but she also has calmed down a whole lot... and this would not happened if it weren't fr the communication and dedication of the principal and teachers..... feeling greatfulParent Review8y ago - Check out schools near 37 Nelson St.

"Streets are too busy to really conform to living in that acceptable space. Kids don’t have the necessary space to play and actually be a kid and there’s too much people not caring for their land making your land stick out if it’s the only one being well kept "

"I work and come home. This isn't a safe place to live. I can't have anything delivered, leave my patio furniture, grill or anything outside. I hate hearing the loud cars speeding up, down, and around the neighborhood. But must of all what scares me... is the gunshots."
