1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff at Rawson need to get it together! They need to improve their disciplinary methods. Who is really in control? In the last couple of years the school has not been doing as well as it was when my child first transfered there! There needs to be better communication between the staff and the parents! More focus should be on the lesson and not whether the child has on the correct color uniform for what ever grade they are in. It would be nice to learn about events, trips, class pictures ect in advance and I dont mean two days prior to when its happening! Parents are not getting a proper notice. hope this school year is a better one than last year, Rawson has so much potential!Parent Review12y ago - Sand School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a community school that can not succeed with out parents doing their part. It's sad, the parents of the students who attend this school are not involved. My daughter is a Spe. Ed 5th grader at Sands, and is doing well, and has made progress since her enrollment late September. She has a great teacher who has zero tolerance for ignorance, bullying, or unkind children in classroom. Her teacher is dedicated to ensuring no one will steal my child's education, not on her watch. Parents can not rely solely on the school to educate their children or child. Learning does not end when the bell rings at 3:00. It starts at home. Get off your butts, parent your kids people. Why should my child's learning be disrupted by a student that has no home training, and severe behavioral issues. Parent you kids, and stop bling the school for lazy parents who don't want to do their job. This a a good school that can be a great school with the help of the parents making sure their kids NOT the one disrupting my child's learning process. The teachers great, Administration, awesome and invested in kids. Mr. Heredia, doing his best with what he has, and the cards he has been dealt.Parent Review10y ago - Simpson-Waverly School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers seem to be very passionate about the process of which the children are learning. Communication with parents is excellent. The nurse has a wonderful familial attitude, almost like she's part of the family. Very kind and concerning.Parent Review7y ago - Wish School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBreakthrough North is a caring, nurturing community. The teachers are exceptional and work together to create a remarkably consistent school culture across classrooms. My children are both working ahead of grade level and are supported well through differentiated instruction. I highly recommend Breakthrough North.Parent Review5y ago - Hartford Area SD A School
