Should children be required to hold their bladders all day to make it to class in four minutes? Should students have to carry the entirety of their supplies around all day because they aren't allowed to use the lockers? Should children be ridiculed by staff if they haven't picked up cursive yet? Should African American children be allowed to call each other racial slurs with impunity? Should children be allowed to eat pizza for lunch daily at a snack bar? Should the police be allowed to intimidate 11 year olds for minor infractions? Should the staff be allowed to dress in inappropriately tight, short, and revealing clothing?
