4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a horrible school!!! My son does not have an actual science teacher and his class has been self teaching using computer modules. This has made my son hate a subject he loved because he stated that he’s not learning anything in the “class”. I did tacos letter stating that my son’s did not have any certification or something to that effect. Which after talking to a retired Bartlett City teacher, she encouraged me to keep him at the school. After learning he doesn’t have a teacher that can answer his questions on the subject, I don’t think I’ll continue to let a school fail my child when it comes to education. A substitute teacher allowed the children to watch an R rated movie that has drugs, alcohol and violence. I don’t think is appropriate at school. Which at a school like this, I don’t think the type of people they have as staff members and students need anymore negative influence. The staff members are rude to the students and in my opinion high power. One of worst things I have seen was a staff member tell a student that was walking home that she couldn’t cross where he was stopping traffic for cars which would be safer, than her walking down the where there is a high traffic entrance and exit in the morning and afternoon and no one there to help her cross the street. She couldn’t see around cars the park by the curb to pick up students and cars are speeding and truly not paying attention to the students walking to or from school. They don’t care. They even leave students outside by themselves still waiting for their to pull around and get them so they can go home. I witnessed this yesterday afternoon.Parent Review1y ago15 Reviews - Check out schools near 3608 Epping Forest Way.

"neighborhood has nice older homes that are on a larger scale. however the school district. is not the best at all. but for the most part the community is friendly in this area "

"People watch out for each other here and mostly everyone is friendly in public. Lots of families live here and if you’re worried about crime, that’s everywhere it’s Memphis. "

"Raleigh is a step above Frayser when it comes to crime. it has a bad reputation but in all honesty it's not that bad. the schools are not great. my biggest complaint about Raleigh is that there is trash all over the place. I don't know if residents of Raleigh are just more prone to litter, or if they just don't have the city cleaning up as much as they do other areas. either way the trash is really appalling. if you turn down Coleman Road coming off of Egypt Central, that road is a prime example of how junky it really is. and that area could be really beautiful."

"Lots of potholes and bad drivers. The roads are so bad beds they Are almost as dangerous as the dumb butte riding around with guns shooting at signs and other cars. "

"There are pockets ... various neighborhoods on the area that are lovely and a few that are not. In neighborhoods like ours kids play and families know one another and look out for each other. It’s truly a great family neighborhood. "

"Side walks and the new lake offer nice places to walk dogs but I’ve yet to see a dog park. The biggest problem may be that there is a large poppy of stray cats in the area and that could prove troublesome for dog owners "

"Raleigh-Millington area is not bad but not good! It’s good enough for people who are just starting up a family without kids. People do not drive safely and it’s just not the “best area”! Crime is not to bad just too many reckless and careless people!"

"Just normal Memphis neighborhood not best, but not the worst either has good and bad like every where else we use to have Raleigh springs mall but no longer here so it's just a cheap place to live if u don't mind hearing gun shots hear n there as well as idiot drivers who can't seem to stop and stop signs and run right through there are lots of good people here though "

"Need better trash clean up on streets. People passing through Raleigh throw there trash out their car window. You never find police when you need them. Commercial businesses are allowed to blast loud music Thursday to Sunday night and the police and there superiors don’t care. First home investment worst home investment living in Raleigh."

"well this July 4th there will be lots of smoke in the air. from grills to fireworks, gun barrels, and marijuana. I might rent a hotel that night. On new year's Eve, we had all of those activities along with a dead body shot in our neighbors yard right across the street. stay away from this place. go to school or a trade school and get a good job and stay out of the hood. "

"There isn't a real dog park out here, so the closest would be Overton or Shelby farms. There are often strays in the area, so always be aware of your own pets. "

"dogs and people would not enjoy the gunshots, murder, many drug dealers, crime, foul mouthed children, children getting high, children walking the streets instead of being in school. dog owners might like there's many loose dogs in the neighborhood that maybe they can pet. but usually they are starving so you have to call animal control to pick them up. do not move here. stay in school, get a good job, and stay away from the hood. there's trash everywhere! pot hole city. dogs and humans stay away!"
