The school where dreams go to die.
Posted by a student on 1/24/2026The school is truly a lost case. The administration just rants big time, but nothing is done. The principal makes an insane impression, teachers are as oppressed as students. My daughter had to leave as some teachers openly told me they couldn't do much for an able child under those conditions.

There is a lot of tension between the traditional and optional students and there is bullying by the traditional students. It was because of the positive experiences at this school that I wanted to become a teacher. I am moving back to Memphis area in early summer and hope to volunteer at this school in the future.
