I absolutely loved this school and I still do! It is my forever home because they are my Viking Family! The staff truly care about the student’s futures and the students are so outstandingly smart! I have a disability and the staff really stepped up to help me when I needed it! They didn’t know I had autism back then but they really tried hard to figure out what was going on with me! I love my Viking Family to the moon and back!

My oldest daughter is a successful former Lakes student, and now my youngest is in the process of making her middle school memories at Lakes! We love Lakes for the community feel, the talented staff, and all of the choices provided to our children for elective courses, clubs, and extra curricular activities.

The other day I watched as Curtis Orthodontics donated a snow cone truck at to Winton Elementary. It was right in the play ground, only kids who sold tickets for curtis ortho ($10 each) were allowed to have a stupid snow cone. Even though this cost the PTA NOTHING. The k-6 children who couldn’t sell tickets or didn’t know anyone who would want to buy ortho tickets (only redeemable for curtis orthodontist treatments) we not allowed to have one and had to watch all the other kids eat snow cones on an extremely hot day. That sucked for the other kids to have to deal with at school and I felt horrible for them. I’ve spent over $6,000 in ortho treatment at curtis orthodontist last year and you’re gonna tell me that my kids can’t have a freaking $2 snow cone with the rest of their
