  • Trulia User

"My office is in Mt Auburn - 7 min or a 30 min walk! Easy and pleasant! I don’t know what else to say to make this 100 characters "
  • Nahyung L.
"pathways are clean and so it is easy to see if dog owners do not clean up there are no Parks easily accessible and so if that isn't a problem walking around the neighborhood is fine"
  • Mary B.
"It is a diverse area. Neighbors are friendly. It’s mostly quiet with a mix of families and college students. Convenient to sweet area shopping with small businesses. "
  • Lexis.dorsey1
"We live in a rental in a 500k home neighborhood which we could never afford to live! (Not Clifton heights) It’s lovely, mostly older families but kids too. We love the walkability to Ludlow and proximity to Northside and while still feeling safe! The homes are beautiful. "
  • Camille S.
"Everyone has a dog, the whole reason I got one was because I saw so many here. And it’s safe to walk them at any hour"
  • Sheridan S.
"I only have a 5min. commute to work. I drive myself and rarely use public transportation. The drive is not bad."
  • Hxshughes11
"Unless you’re past MLK (in the ludlow area) Clifton is not ideal for families or mature members of society. Anything close to campus is filthy and unsafe!!!"
  • Dustin B.
"Easy highway access to downtown (5 min) or go through Clifton heights (8 min). Or the 17 bus is an easy one to jump on back and forth from downtown. "
  • Dannypeters85
"Clifton fest, live music in Ludlow square, walks through burnet woods, and regular campus events, including soccer games and football tailgates. "
  • Kelly W.
"great access to shops and theater and local restaurants and University of Cincinnati and the Medical Campus Hospitals"
  • Brad H.
"we love the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, memorial day picnic, cliftonfest is a great weekend of arts and music, music every weekend on the plaza on Ludlow."
  • Smayoliver
"Wednesdays in the woods with live music. Music on Clifton Square. Cliftonfest. We also have neighborhood Easter egg hunts and porch parties."
  • Ecottingham
"There are plenty of dogs and friendly people on the sidewalks. The lawns are well kept with lots of old shady trees. The sidewalks are generally well maintained. Some shops put out bowls of water for dogs. There are plenty of places to walk and take your dog with you. There is a vet within walking distance and several places to purchased dog food and supplies."
  • Rachel V. N.
"Rented here for 5 years and I wish there were more options for first-time home buyers in an affordable price range (it’s a high rental market), but Clifton Gaslight is a wonderful area with all your basic necessities in walking distance from most residences. There are some interesting characters that you’ll see frequently and some streets are more prone to vandalism but overall it’s a lovely area with eclectic houses, a few parks, and a ton of amenities nearby. Very dog-friendly and I see a lot of families with young children."
  • Ecottingham
"Great older home with lots of character. Walking distance to anything you need-grocery store, hardware store, pharmacy, post office, movie theater and many restaurants."
  • Susan M.
"The clifton gaslight area is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. The clifton community is very welcoming and offers excellent community involvement, schools, and variety of entertainment."
