6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are new to the area. My son came from a school with "10" rating. This school was all about work, discipline, and more work. Save that for the adult workforce. My child would say daily "I have school." Now he loves school. There is the right balance of learning, community involvement, and personal development. He never wants to go back to the elementary school where he spent his last 5 years.Parent Review7y ago - Bloomington High School North

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student, I must say that Bloomington Highschool Norths faculty helped me greatly in preparing for college level classes. It has classes for all skill levels, regular, honors, and AP. They also offer a great junior/ senior internship program that is known throughout the community, and gives students the opportunity to intern at IU, doctors offices, with the city, or where ever the student wishes as long as it is practical. It also offers some classes both from IU and Bloomington's Community college Ivy Tech North offers a great Fine Arts classes that have put out some national award winning pieces of art, a phenomenal English department and social studies department, and a pretty good science department. The school also has a strong group of administrators, some better than others. This school is not perfect just like any high school in the area or the country for that matter, there are some bad teachers, and kids that get away with things, but again it's hard not to find that anywhere.Other Review8y ago - Rogers Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in 1st grade now. As a parent whose native language is not English, I am very appreciating what teachers did for my daughter, especially, Ms. Glenn-Helmer, Ms. Daunhauer. Teacher send email to us to let parents know what our kids learned in school. Also, teacher tell us how to help our kids to review and learned at home. The teacher help my daughter choose her reading book according to her reading level. Teachers encourage my daughter to her talent in classroom. Teachers in Rogers are knowledgeable, responsible, and careful. My daughter is very enjoy her school time.Parent Review9y ago - Tri-North Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is now called The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship. This is my daughter's 2nd year there. We love this school. They help individualize the child's education to put them on the right path for their future. Kid's can take college classes their 11th and 12th grade years and get college credits. It's all included in their high school education! They take bullying seriously! I know my child is safe and getting a great education!Parent Review8y ago - Bloomington Graduation School

"As long as you’re living on the part that’s no where near Acadia courts then you’re good. People also run the stop sign on the Allendale Winslow entrance so you have to be super careful there, and people drive pretty fast on Allendale . If you have kids make sure you have a fence and not close to the main road "
