What Locals Say about Kirkman North

"No big yards for dogs to run and play in. There are some parks around but nothing that great for a big dog. Plenty of space for dog to go on walks."

"The fact a lot of dog owners do not clean after their pets, I see some walking their dog without a leash. I have a big dog who is not friendly with other dogs and I get worried all the time when I go out, as I had a bad experience with a pitbull running lose coming towards us while on a walk. I had to cover my dog to protect him"

"Some communities are better than others. Look for a gated community with 24 hour security guards. Everything else is good, convenient location, parks and schools are nice. "

"After living and working in this area for a while, I can say I am extremely satisfied with everything this area of Orlando has to offer! When I look for an area there are generally a few main attributes I look at: schools, traffic, aesthetics, and the community itself (restaurants, shopping, jobs, etc.). Taking these factors into account, I can honestly say that I am not disappointed by any of these. The schools that are nearby all have very good ratings and just by looking at them, I can say I wish I had gone to these schools over my own back home. Commuting is something that really shines. Aside from I4, the roads are generally clear, easily accessible, and very easy to navigate which helps more than I would have ever imagined when trying to arrive somewhere on time! The community itself is gorgeous, with oak and palm trees along the roads and although it seems like there is always lawn care men on the side of the road in one place or another, at least I know that the landscaping is being constantly maintained and updated! Which brings me to my last point, the community itself. Not only does it look gorgeous, there are plenty of things to do. This area is in my opinion, one of the most convenient for all of Orlando. If I need to buy something, there is the Mall of Millenia nearby, plenty of shopping centers most of which seem maintained and updated, and almost any major store you could imagine. Hungry? It seems like my choices once again are unlimited as you can stop by any of the numerous restaurants that range from fine sit down dining of all types to your run of the mill fast food restaurants. And last but not least, one of the most important factors most people look for, jobs. Orlando is a city that is constantly growing, with many job opportunities everywhere you look; from existing jobs at major companies like Seimens and Northrop Grumman, to smaller or newer businesses that seem to be everywhere! This is one area of Florida that I plan on staying in! "
