"Beware walking your dogs in Tarentum. There is trash everywhere there are loose dogs in unfenced yards. The bus stop is grossly scattered with chicken bones and trash. Best to walk dogs in middle of the street when traffic is light. Otherwise it is a dangerous walk. "
  • Nichole Lee
"You literally have to watch where you walk your dog. There is trash everywhere and it’s scary what your dog may ingest plus dog owners not cleaning unless their dogs feces!"
  • Steven E.
"There are a lot of people out and about and they also have dogs too. As long as you pick up after your pet everyone is super nice and kind"
  • Steven E.
"Nice kinda quiet town and the only thing to get use to is the occasional train thru town. And the fire whistle too. The neighbors in town are great and some of the people walking around can be rude they dislike my dogs that wouldn’t hurt a person ever"
  • Steven E.
"I’ve lived here for just about 2 years and it’s for the most part a quiet town. But occasionally there is a train that goes thru town, and also the occasional fire whistle which is something I’ve become accustomed too. "
  • Steven E.
"This is a great town to live in kinda trusting and nice neighbors but the borough can be a handful they love fees besides that it’s pretty inexpensive to live here"
  • Christine K.
"people are walking their dogs all the time. it is a peaceful neighborhood. not much traffic and neighbors are friendly "
  • Christine K.
"Nice and quiet, most people keep to themselves. Not much of an internet connection, Good school system. No public bus system. Reliable snow removal, quick response from police. "
  • C Kirchner
"There is no bus is access. I like taking the back roads. No traffic. Polite drivers. Not a lot of people on bikes, which I like. Sometimes trees down. Great snow removal services. "
  • Eminem4life81
"lived here most of my life it's way better than where I used to live in Detroit this places crime rates are way lower and there ain't many bad people around in some of tarentum "
