About this House

This is brick historic home is expansive and stunning with magical amounts of storage. The layout begins at the front door with a huge entryway. To the right is a large living room with a decorative fireplace, large bay window, and lots of arrangement options. Straight ahead is the large eat-in kitchen. The real tile goes through the entryway into the kitchen. There are lots of cabinets and pantry space. Through the kitchen is the 1st-floor bedroom (and just for fun the downstairs is a circle layout with another door to the living room). The 1st-floor bedroom has a closet AND a huge laundry closet. Back through the kitchen are the stairs to go up to the 2nd floor and it has a pocket door that has been preserved.

Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms - 2 are huge and 1 is small. The first bedroom has cathedral ceilings and a nice size closet. The 2nd upstairs bedroom has amazing storage, built-ins, and a window nook. The 3rd bedroom is small, only a twin-sized bed would work but can be used as a nursery or office. The bathroom has a tub and shower with an updated vanity/mirror. It also has a linen closet.

Back downstairs off the kitchen is the Bonus Room which is off the back porch. You walk outside on the porch to enter the bonus room. Do you need a home office? Do you have students who need quiet to study? This is a heated, semi-finished room as the floor is concrete, for whatever your household needs.

The home is 100 years old so it's got unique cubbies and storage. If you're looking for a new build, this is NOT it. Also, it doesn't have central a/c. Because it's brick and plaster, plus north-facing the home stays remarkably cool. Window A/c units have worked fine.

Well-behaved pets are welcome to apply along with their humans. This is a strict non-smoking and non-vaping home anywhere on the property due to the insurance requirements on the home. All utilities are the resident's responsibility, through AEP and Lancaster Utilities.

This area isn't to bad but I would nit recommend my apartments to anyone. They are invested with drugs, bugs and and slum lords. But the houses and area around are very decent."

    "I’ve lived in this area from birth until 19 or 20 I moved away for about 15 years maybe a few more growing up it was a safe area neighbors friendly could leave your door unlocked I would not really be able to say the same now as most of small town USA it has been taken over by drug pushers and users this area is known for methamphetamine use and manufacturing wish it was how I remember it growing up but I still wouldn’t say it’s the worst area it’s just not as wholesome as it once was"
