Carver is such a special place and I'm so glad my two kids had such an amazing experience at this school. From the teachers to the administration, the staff go above and beyond so ensure that all students are in a loving and nurturing environment. When my son graduated out of Carver, I literally was in tears because he was leaving such an amazing supportive community. In middle school, his 6th grade year was a breeze because he was so well prepared and had built such a strong foundation in elementary school.

The teachers are not teaching, expecting students to learn themselves, they are all about roles , no lunch box in classroom, no rolling bags, the lockers area is so crowded because these role make school life harder, students will get tardy easily, the school admin always expecting donations from parents, all sorts of paid events, trips etc. The principal Mary is a political figure, she check you up and down then decide if she wants to nice or give the student hard time because again her will. If there’s an other middle school in SM, we will transfer.

SMHS is like a semi-private-run public school. It's above and beyond the state minimum requirements for a public school.
