I have been very pleased with the education they received at FHS. Every parent I personally know has been very pleased with FHS too.Parent Review5y ago - Hermosa Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVaried. The Vice Principal goes above and beyond with some teachers and most coaches but many teachers seem to not feel the need to be readily available to students and some are very gifted in this aspect.Parent Review4y ago - Ladera Del Norte Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAlthough my child does very well he was struggling with math. I had to ask 5-6 times about help/tutoring etc. I never even received a response from his teacher or principle on what to do or what resources we had. By the time we did the division section was over and they had moved on. The few tones I’ve emailed the principle I’ve only received a response about 30% of the time. I will say the few bullying instances my son has had over the 5 yrs he’s been there, they have been *on top* of it. They even addressed a situation while my child was simply walking to school. I am very grateful for that.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 3308 N Dustin Ave.

"I have lived here just since January. I moved from Valif to be closer to my sis in Durango. I cannot afford living there. I love walking downtown with my little dog. I'm disappointed that there are no outdoor to go type places. I also have been concerned regarding alcohol and drug abuse in the are. people in shops are friendly and people I have met in stores. Teddy attracts most. I have met one person I would call a friend. I broke my wrist and I had meals on wheels for a short time. he has helped me a lot."
