About this House

This is a great garden level apartment in the heart of Congress Park. Recently remodeled, it has all the charm of the original 1918 Craftsman Bungalow, including original hardwood floors, exposed brick and a fireplace (non-working). Plus it has the benefits of a new open-concept kitchen with a peninsula connecting to the living room. The huge egress windows let in tons of light!

Walk to the shops on 12th Ave. Have a glass of wine, get your hair done, grab coffee at your choice of 3 coffee shops w/in walking distance. Play tennis or join a soccer league at Congress Park. Cruise up to the Bluebird for a show, hit up concerts at the Botanical Garden, or grab dinner at one of the great restaurants on 12th or Colfax. This is the best combo of living in Central Denver, but also being in a chill neighborhood.

Garage spot for 1 car and plenty of street parking for guests, plus no cost laundry facilities located inside the property. These amenities are shared with the upstairs tenants.

The property will be shown at open houses only. Please submit an application if you are interested. Move in date may be flexible based on current tenant's moving timeline. Dogs are considered on a case by case basis. For questions, e-mail or text is best.

I will hold an open house on January 2nd, at 10am, and another on the January 2nd at 6pm. Please let me know if you plan to view the property. Please do not disturb current tenant! Thanks!

The building is a duplex, tenant shares water, gas and electric costs with the upstairs unit. Costs are divided equally by the number of adult residents. Owner pays for trash and lawn service. Heat is via hot water radiators and the apartment typically remains cool in the summer but there are window A/C units available if it gets too hot.

1 space in a shared garage is included. On-site laundry is shared with the upstairs residents.

Residents are expected to handle snow removal and some yard upkeep.
This is a non-smoking (indoors) property.
Dogs will be considered on a case by case basis.

  • Madison Hargis
"Family friendly community that feels very safe even off of big cross streets. I have seen streets blocked off for block parties on multiple occasions, and everybody is respectful."
  • Trulia User
"Great neighborhood. Friendly neighbors, clean, and safe. This feels like a suburb in the middle of the city!"
  • Trulia User
"Cute family oriented neighborhood that has two different strips of restaurants/ coffee shops as well as hardware and convenience stores. "
  • Trulia User
"Great access to buses. The bus off colfax is a little sketchy sometimes, but it runs constantly and late into the night, so that’s helpful. "
  • Trulia User
"Family heavy neighborhood that is full of sidewalks and handful of food options. Walkability is great in all directions "
  • Trulia User
"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 13 years and love it. Very family friendly, residential, but so close to city center. "
  • Trulia User

  • James S.
"Plenty of pups! I walk around and have never had an awkward interaction or felt as if the animal was aggressive. Congress Park dogs make me consider adopting!"

"I’ve lived here for a few years now I love it..........................................................................."
  • Bete.noire+trulia
"THE BOTANICAL GARDENS ARE THE WORST BUSINESS CITIZEN IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. STEER CLEAR UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR OWN GARAGE WITH DOOR, THE GARDENS' PARKING IS COMPLETELY INADEQUATE AND THEY DO NOT GIVE TWO TUGS ABOUT INCONVENIENCING THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD WITH SWARMS OF SUBURBANITES AS LONG AS THEY MAKE A BUCK! NOR DO THEY COMPENSATE LOCAL RESIDENTS WITH SO MUCH AS A COURTESY DISCOUNT FOR DISRUPTING OUR PEACE. AVOID!"
  • Lauren V.
"There are families in the area. The neighborhood feels safe and has schools nearby. There are parks everywhere, which is a bonus."
  • Sfnic
"Lots of art and music festivals. Great restaurants. Parks. Bars and coffee shops. It’s all within walking distance!"
