"Family friendly community that feels very safe even off of big cross streets. I have seen streets blocked off for block parties on multiple occasions, and everybody is respectful."

"Great access to buses. The bus off colfax is a little sketchy sometimes, but it runs constantly and late into the night, so that’s helpful. "

"Plenty of pups! I walk around and have never had an awkward interaction or felt as if the animal was aggressive. Congress Park dogs make me consider adopting!"

"THE BOTANICAL GARDENS ARE THE WORST BUSINESS CITIZEN IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. STEER CLEAR UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR OWN GARAGE WITH DOOR, THE GARDENS' PARKING IS COMPLETELY INADEQUATE AND THEY DO NOT GIVE TWO TUGS ABOUT INCONVENIENCING THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD WITH SWARMS OF SUBURBANITES AS LONG AS THEY MAKE A BUCK! NOR DO THEY COMPENSATE LOCAL RESIDENTS WITH SO MUCH AS A COURTESY DISCOUNT FOR DISRUPTING OUR PEACE. AVOID!"

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here a few years back and it was a very good and positive school. There were never any fights, the teachers and principles provided a bunch of support and there were also many fun activities we had done over the school years. The staff were always super kind to the students and the lunch was good.Student Review2y ago32 Reviews - Good Shepherd Catholic School
