"Amazing place to raise a family. There’s a healthy mix of up and coming/young families, settled in ready to retire ‘old money’, and everything in between. "
  • Jbnudd
"Parks and recreation, and the fire department each hold great events and activities. A nice community atmosphere. "
  • Keaton S.

  • Gregg N.

"This town is really only made of families. The district middle school is right in town and the high school is less than 15 minutes away. Lots of grocery stores, restaurants, and easy shopping nearby."
  • Pecurlett
"Close to everything! Stores, pharmacy, church, hospital, doctors, gas stations, work-out places,, main highways"
  • Jim L.
"Stratham is one of those little 'sleeper' town that dot the New Hampshire Seacoast area. Close to beaches, major commuter routes, and shopping. Great schools and great community involvement. Should be on your places to visit if you're thinking of moving to New Hampshire."
  • williamsod
"We live and work in Stratham. My husband taught in the school district, which has one of the highest ratings in NH. I have an in home office and commute all over the country. All the essentials are within 5-10 minutes of home, including lovely downtown Exeter with unique shopping and restaurants . Portsmouth with a wide of boutiques, dining, and entertainment is 15 minutes away. The beach is 20 minutes. Travel to Boston and MHT is easily accessible from RT 101. Neighborhoods are friendly, private, and safe. This is all the best of the seacoast area. "

"Fantastic family oriented neighborhood - the water frontage is on a pristine tidal river with access to Great Bay and the ocean. The Swampscott River is perfect for kyackers, oarspeople and canoeists. Unbelievable privacy minutes from shopping and hospitals. You would think you were in some remote section of New Hampshire rather than 10 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. Marvelous location. The Stratham Community, its police and fire, and its elected officials do a marvelous job of not only preserving the heritage of the town, but also putting together a healthy plan for the future. GREAT PLACE TO LIVE."
