Description

A 6,022 square foot lot in DC isn’t just rare—it’s transformative. This is real outdoor living: room to host, space for pets, gardening, play, or simply enjoying a yard you’ll actually use. And it’s not just the lot—it’s the block. Quiet, well-kept, and lined with beautiful homes, this is the kind of street that instantly feels right the moment you arrive. Inside, the home strikes that ideal balance between character and updates. Hardwood floors throughout, a welcoming main level, and a layout that flows naturally for both everyday living and entertaining. The kitchen connects seamlessly to the dining space, creating an environment that feels open without losing definition—exactly how buyers want to live today. Upstairs is where many homes start to fall short—but not here. All three full bathrooms have been completely renovated, delivering clean, modern finishes and, more importantly, peace of mind. No deferred projects. No “we’ll get to it later.” It’s already done. The lower level adds valuable flexibility with a fully finished multi-purpose space—ideal for guests, a home office, or additional living. In DC, this kind of optionality isn’t just convenient—it’s smart. And then there are the features buyers are always hoping for—but rarely find together: Off-street parking for two cars, including a garage Roof replaced in 2016 Central air and electrical heavy-up completed in 2019 Fully renovated bathrooms and new kitchen appliances (2025) Fresh paint and refinished hardwood floors (2025) This isn’t a home where you inherit a to-do list. This is the one where you move in—and your weekends stay yours. Located in Brightwood, you’re tucked into a quiet residential setting while still connected to everything that matters. Enjoy easy access to Takoma, Manor Park, and downtown Silver Spring, along with nearby parks, local favorites, and everyday conveniences. From the trails of Rock Creek Park to neighborhood gathering spots along Upshur Street, this is a location that offers both energy and ease—something buyers increasingly value. Bottom line: Homes that offer this combination of lot size, condition, parking, and a block that truly can't be beat are few and far between. Come see in person and fall in love with your new home today!

"Quiet friendly family neighborhood of middle and working class people of diverse backgrounds. We are in danger of being priced out soon due to a lot of developers buying and over renovating homes in this area."
  • Luna N.
"Residencial and friendly people. New restaurants are opening all the time and walter reed is going to bring a lot of business "
  • Xavier G.
"It’s quiet and food of school. If you love driving around to places, this is the neighborhood for you. "
  • D B.
"Quiet neighborhood, five minutes to bus stop, fifteen minutes to Takoma subway. Elementary, Charter School, High School, Recreation Center, two libraries. Beautiful in all four seasons. "
  • deborahnb
"It's still a quaint, quiet area with still a few Senior Citizens who have been here 40 years or so. As they move out, or pass on, a nice diversity of middle classed family's move in. My first home was 3 blocks toward Silver Spring. I liked the area which is why I purchased the second home in Manor Park as well. Homes are still affordable for a middle class salary. Residents keep the outside of their homes clean with manicured lawns. Downtown Silver Spring is a great area for entertainment with restaurants; movies; light shopping; etc, and it isn't far. Takoma Metro stop is also walking distance and about 3 minutes on the bus. Overall, great location!"
  • Mark D.
"I love the area. We are looking for a house in the area. A lot of houses remodeled...Amazing!!!!"
