9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers are like a mob, securing the best for their own and each others children. Speak out about it and they will gang up on your child. They are extremely vindictive, and the administration won't do anything about it. Rockwall has become a B rated district for many reasons.Parent Review1y ago10 Reviews - Doris Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m incredibly disappointed with Rockwall ISD. Over the past year, our experience has been nothing short of frustrating due to the district’s handling of bullying. It’s astonishing how a school system that should foster learning and growth has instead become a breeding ground for bullying, with no real action taken to stop it.The administration, particularly at J.W. Williams Middle School, has shown a shocking disregard for the well-being of students who fall victim to this behavior. Time and time again, when issues were brought to their attention, we were met with empty promises and dismissals. The district seems more concerned with protecting its image than actually addressing the toxic environment that’s been allowed to flourish. What’s even more troubling is that victims are often the ones punished when they finally stand up for themselves. It’s as if the district is more interested in silencing the issue than solving it. Meanwhile, the bullies walk away without any real consequences, emboldened to continue their behavior. But it doesn’t stop there. The district’s culture is steeped in narrow-mindedness, where if you’re not constantly talking about God, you’re treated as though you’re worth nothing. It’s disturbing to see such exclusionary practices in a public school system, especially in 2024 when diversity of thought and belief should be celebrated, not shunned. There’s so much silly, nonsensical behavior throughout Rockwall ISD that it’s hard to believe this is an institution of learning. From the outdated and irrelevant curriculum to the district’s obsession with rigid, outdated values, it feels like stepping back in time. The staff seems more focused on maintaining control through fear and outdated beliefs than on nurturing students’ growth, critical thinking, and individuality. It’s truly sad to see that in today’s world, a school district can still be so out of touch with the needs of its students and the realities of modern society. I can only hope that future students will see changes that create a safer, more inclusive, and genuinely supportive environment—something that is sorely lacking at Rockwall ISD.Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 3225 Patrick St.

"Considering the city is far, wylie is much more city like, things and places are very easily accessible and makes life easier. Pretty safe and neighborhood is friendly still up-kept and neat for the most part. Wish it was less cars in the streets but either way it’s a happy place to live."
