Teachers are like a mob, securing the best for their own and each others children. Speak out about it and they will gang up on your child. They are extremely vindictive, and the administration won't do anything about it. Rockwall has become a B rated district for many reasons.

They will demean them, and make as if it is their fault that they aren’t perfect students. Teacher communication is horrible and the superintendent backs poor admin

Management is so nice and they are always helpful to resolve all kinds of study related issues. I am happy with the security inside the

Posted by a parent on 2/11/2021We moved to Rockwall from Dallas after elementary school ended. We’ve had an amazing experience with RISD! Our son has some learning issues and the support has been fantastic. He also participates in the football program which is second to none. Fantastic facilities and coaches.

Our daughter was cared for, learned more than I did after 1st grade, and was kept engaged. Here, some of the teachers don't care whether the students learn or fall behind. There is so much bullying that is not handled because this administrative team is not capable of dealing with it. My kids will not be coming back to this school next year.
