My daughter entered MHS in her junior year, after we moved from the Cincinnati area where she had attended an all-girls Catholic high school her first two years. I was worried that attending a public school for the first time since kindergarten would be very hard on her, but the students and teachers at MHS were great and she easily made new friends. My daughter's confidence grew and she flourished at MHS, continuing her Straight A's streak and being named one of the many Valedictorians; ultimately receiving a Governor's Merit Scholarship for college as well. I cannot thank the staff at MHS enough for helping my daughter through a tremendous transition from private to public school, from Cincinnati to Marysville. Switching high schools is hard, especially into a tight knit community like Marysville-- but the students and community were great.

I am a student at Bunsold, and I had one or two good teachers, but most of them just stuck us on a computer program and at at their desks on their phones. Along with creekview, teachers barely engage with their students. Not many clubs or activities to choose from if your looking for something less generic and sports are very good, but can’t make the team unless you can afford a personal coach.

The principals don’t want to be held accountable for their actions. The only time you see them is when they want to find something the teachers are doing wrong— not to support in any way. There are no actual grades in this school so parents are actually confused on what their pupil knows or doesn’t know. There are no incentives for students to give their best when the only grade is the final test. This school sets the students up for failure.

This school is awesome, my child as been there since kinder and is sad that it only goes to 4th grade. I would love for her to stay there forever. The staff is great and really want parents to be involved. There is not enough parents that are in my opinion or the school would be off the charts!
