What Locals Say about Mount Victory

"Mount Victory is a small village located about 40 miles north of Columbus Ohio. It is very easy to fall in love with this cute small town. When I lived there everyone was very kind, always said "hello, smiled and waived. There is a nice size park and ball diamond in town and one of the schools is located in town too. The kids would walk around, walk to school and the park. There is hardly every any crime, it's a "front door unlocked" community. You are within a half hour of every big town from Mount Victory, Marion, Indian Lake, Bellefontaine and Marysville. One of the best things about Mount Victory is there are about 20 antique shops in town. Every weekend people from all over drive there to do some window shopping. They have a couple of festival/car shows a year. When I lived there, The Plaza Resturant was a great place to eat, they even have a very cute little grass landing strip for single engine planes to fly in. We used to go out there every Sunday, eat the great food and walk over to the landing strip and look at the planes. There was a little hardware store, small bank, barber shoppe, 2 pizza shops/ice cream parlore also. I just loved it, my husband and I had to move away, we had family we needed to be closer to, but if I could move back there I would. You never know, maybe someday we'll be living in this cute little village again. "
