2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAlthough Tara High school is nestled in a nice Suburbian neighborhood it is one of the worst schools I could have possibly sent my son to. Staff is either too lazy or overworked but I’d say the latter. Seems like staff does not like to do their work and gets annoyed when asked to do so. My son currently attends Tara high and I’ve have a few problems with the staff not doing their job. My son has also stated to me plenty of times that he isn’t challenged academically not to mention the school is so run down not sure how it’s still standing. Unfortunately, I was forced to send my child to this school because this is the only high school within the area I live. With that being said this past week a few issues have been brought to light that has ultimately made me make the decision to pull my son out & be homeschooled. This past week was the week of the national student walk out for gun control and out of all the schools across America that participated in the walk out Tara high didn’t allow students to exercise the right. The principal decides to pull the fire alarm at the same exact time the walk out was to occur. In her words she “didn’t want to deal with all the commotion” Word of advice if you can avoid it Do Not Send Your Child To This School by all means.Parent Review8y ago7 Reviews - Wedgewood Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible. If you have a child with accommodations or an IEP don't allow your child to attend this school. They could care less. Also, if your child is in need of an IEP, you do not want them to start it, they will stack it with information that's false and embellished so that the teachers will have a reason to not teach your child and just throw them in special education. There is no such thing as inclusion. They will lie. The administration offers no resources for teachers, because of the lack of knowledge themselves. I hated every day my child attended. Worse decision I could have ever made for my child. Had I not been an active mom that's involved and vocal they would have done the bare minimum for my child and not cared the least. One of the worse schools I have ever seen those cares only about making a day easy for one brand of students. Had an outside source not stepped in I would have sued this school, and I had all the documentation to do so.Parent Review2y ago12 Reviews - Check out schools near 3149 Thackeray Dr.

"I see public transportation when I'm out and about, but I typically work from home. When I do commute, it is fairly easy to get from home to my destination. I do think there should be more options for city bus riders and bicyclists to opt comfortably out of driving vehicles all the time."
