I really enjoy this school, t of course does with its flaws like any other school would have but other than that it is a nice and enjoyable school

This school is absolutely disgusting. My niece has reported multiple students for making racial remarks. These students have been telling my niece that she’s black and making other comments towards my nieces skin color. She has reported these students to the substitute teacher and the substitute teacher responded back to my niece by saying “no seas chiflada y chismosa” which means don’t be spoiled and don’t be a tattle tale. This is absolutely ridiculous and I can’t believe students have to put up with these substitutes. Shame on the school for not disciplining those students and the substitute.

We were nervous about enrolling our daughter here, but have been pleased with the smooth transition. She loves her classes and especially enjoys band. It helps if your child has good grades and can be in the advanced classes. Discipline has not been a problem; I think the administration has worked hard to correct past problems. I'd like to see administration encourage more parent invovlvement opportunities and not just "parenting/discipline" classes. Parents are an untapped resourse at this school.

Good music program, all of the band kids hang out together & stay out of trouble. Fair academic programs. Definately get your child involved with UIL (it starts early in the school year). This school was much better than I expected, my daughter didn't have any trouble with fights or bullies. Drop off & pick up is a huge pain in the neck.
