10th floor loft with exceptional views over Broadway to the South. Outstanding location right next to the Metro Station, Pershing Square, the newly announced Downtown Los Angeles campus for UCLA and all the city amenities. Originally built in 1923 and converted to lofts in 2004, the SB Grand is a 12 story building located at the corner of 5th and Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles. Architects Curlett and Bellman designed this Beaux Arts style building for a department store and the building converted to loft homes in 2004. Loft 1013 offers 660 square feet downtown living in the center of the Historic Core. Some of the features include high ceilings, large windows to the South bringing abundant light, laminate wood flooring throughout living spaces and an open plan kitchen for hosting friends and family. The bedroom area (please see the floorplan photos) is set behind the kitchen and has a privacy that is uncommon in the building. The kitchen has tiled marble counters, built-in microwave and plenty of storage space in the natural wood cabinets. The condominium property also offers the convenience of in-unit laundry. Enjoy the sparkling rooftop pool with epic views across LA. 24-hour security guard. Broadway is undergoing a renaissance with new retail, great restaurants, and easy access to the Metro Red Line at the Pershing Square Metro Station. Blocks to UCLA Downtown Campus, Bunker Hill and Grand Central Market. A short ride-share to Staples/Crypto, LA Live, the Arts District and beyond.

Mr Simpson's dedication to excellance as principle and her genuine care for the kids show in how he appoaches discipline and interactions with each student. He know name's parent back stories . Our daughter graduates this year and we will greatly miss Ms. Kim, Ms. Johnson, Mr Gil, Ms Sandaval, and Ms. Wang. Thank you for you advacacy for my child's well being and the willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to enhance my child's academic career.Parent Review6y ago - Miguel Contreras Learning Complex School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf a parent gets to read this. Please don't send your child here. Yes it can be close to where you live. But here in this PUBLIC school is a no. The amount of kids leaving this school tells so much how bad this school is, not even to apply.. The school systems here is RIDICULOUS. Wasting so much money for the uniforms just to know pe clothes have to be necessary. Student here even complain that the teachers get mad at you if u don't bring your pe clothes. Not only that but students don't even understand what the teachers are saying. So is the teachers too. Having friends here isn't easy I see tons of kids eating ALONE at lunch is crazy and I feel bad. One last thing most these students fail because how wouldn't they fail if all the teachers say let do some notes. Better off teaching instead of having of the fingers hurt and expecting us to do testing next day. They get paid to do their work not to take a rest by making us write. Take a hold for writing and do your actual work. I almost forgot this school need a new staff members to work here .. everyday they always have an attitude towards us. Which I personally do not like. Especially since I'm trying to go to class. For the students change the time for us to leave school I'm tired of it. Let us go to the restroom and not complain saying, you just came from lunch. Like a student cannot control their body when not to go to the restroom and let ur picky favorites get out. Thanks for reading if u did ...Other Review3mo ago - Edward R. Roybal Learning Center

"I’ve lived in Bunker Hill (NW side) for about 2 years now and the management companies are the ONLY differentiator for you loving or hating where you live. Goldrich Kest is manages both of their buildings with so much thoughtfulness and care that you cant help but feel like you are in an inclusive and safe community. They throw events like movies nights and free bbqs here and there so the neighbors to come and interact with each other. Service requests are handled expediently and I have never heard of anyone breaking into parking garage… which is more than I can say for properties south of 5th street. Since Bunker Hill is in the Business District, there is a neighborhood security company that regularly patrols the area (purple shirts) and cleans up all trash. The occasional homeless is few and far between. Now, the ONLY negative I have is that there is occasionally street racing/burnouts on lower grand around that starts at around 11pm and goes till approx. 1am at times. Police are always called but they have watchers and can never be fully stopped. Just make sure you are asleep befor"

"I’ve lived in DTLA since 2012. The best restaurants are all here. Museums within easy walking distance. I hate the gentrification & the people/ridiculous developments it brought, but that’s me. I’d rather see historic buildings used for adaptive reuse for lofts and local businesses. Perla (400 S Broadway) is an eyesore and all wrong for the historic core. I never imagined I’d have that & an Apple Store on my street when I moved in. There are some benefits, but everyone that made DTLA cool came from the people who (in too many cases) were driven out after their rent went up. There are still some great people, but the types I wanted to avoid inevitably moved here in droves later on. Oh well. "
