Luxurious GUT RENOVATED penthouse in the sky, for people with discriminating taste.
Penthouse T, a TRUE 2-bedroom/ 2-bath home at Turtle Bay Towers, is a truly rare find. This loft-like apartment boasts an ultra-smart layout; bright southern exposure; incredible views to the south, east and west (including the Chrysler Building, Williamsburg Bridge, and iconic Pepsi sign); modern 21st Century features; and exquisite finishes and details throughout.
The unit was recently renovated to perfection, incorporating features that enhance quality of life and save money too. These include: all-new drywall throughout; new electrical system; smart home wiring; state-of-the art kitchen (with Viking, Thermador and Liebherr appliances, soft-close drawers, under-cabinet lighting and smartly designed storage); two brand new bathrooms (with custom Italian cabinets, dual-flush wall-mounted toilets and Toto Washlets (bidet); energy-efficient LED lighting (recessed, with Lutron dimmers); custom storage (in high-gloss lacquer); specially made wooden doors (imported from Italy); red oak Nordic flooring (in stunning herringbone pattern); new HVAC units (with wall-mounted digital thermostats); custom HVAC/radiator covers (with built-in storage and Perla White Quartz window sills); stunning greenhouse windows (with Sunshield® reflective film); two well-apportioned bedrooms (including a huge master suite); amazing closet space and much more.
PH-T is perfect for entertaining too. The spacious dining area easily accommodates a dozen dinner guests, who may sip on red or white wine that has been perfectly chilled in the Summit under-cabinet wine cellar (46-bottle capacity, with two temperature zones).
The push of a button automatically turns the large living area into a home theater, complete with blackout shade, surround sound and a discreet screen that descends from the ceiling.
This gem is located at Turtle Bay Towers, a condop (co-op with condo rules) in the heart of Midtown East, near the U.N., Grand Central, Dag Hammarskjold Plaza and world-class restaurants and bars. The building has a full-time doorman; resident manager; laundry on every floor; roof deck with phenomenal views; onsite garage; bicycle room and storage bins available for rent.
Best of all, the building is pet-friendly (dogs up to 40 lbs.), welcomes investors, pied-a-terres, co-purchasing, parents purchasing with children, etc.
Like most condos, 90% financing is allowed.
Photos do not do PH-T justice. This truly special apartment must be EXPERIENCED.

"Across the street from Tudor City Park and UN. Near Grand Central Station, Bryant Park and Times Square. Near NYU and Bellevue hospitals. Near AMC Lowes movie theatre. Quietest place in Manhattan. Safe too with lots of police patrols. Dog friendly. Be in the heart of everything and in walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. Supermarkets here aren't that great though and they are expensive. "
