We are renting our row house with a huge backyard and finished basement in Eckington, DC, available for two years (maybe longer!) starting in August 2023. 0.6 miles from the Rhode Island Ave Metro (Red Line).
Our home is 3 bedrooms/2.5 baths. Approximately 1,500 square feet.
Utilities are not included, but run approximately $250 a month (not including internet).
The basement is fully finished and includes a kitchenette -- perfect for a family member living with you/nanny/roommate to defray costs.
The big back yard includes space for parking with an electric gate. There is also an Argentinian Asado oven.
Home features gas heater, electric AC, gas stove. New refrigerator. In-unit washer/dryer in the basement. SimplySafe security system included (monthly fees borne by tenant).
We have made only a few updates including a tankless water heater, updated light fixtures, painted kitchen cabinets.
Pets welcome.
Nearby sites include City State Brewery, Lost Generation Brewery, Alamo Drafthouse Theater, and Union Market. Nearest grocery stores are Harris Teeter/Giant/Trader Joes.

Prefer 2-year lease.

Renter is responsible for utilities, including gas, water, and electric. Renter will also be responsible for internet and security system subscription (latter is not required).

Allow all pets. No smoking.

Space for one car in the backyard. Street parking is widely available as well.
