"I live here and I love my community. Whitman is changing over the years but it still has a lot of great people and expanding community resources "
  • Kristen.lombardo
"It’s friendly and its very neighborly. It’s a great small town to grow up in and raise your children in"
  • Kaglynn76
"All kinds of dogs in the neighborhood. People can walk them easily with so many accessible sidewalks. "
  • Clavigne1
"Friendly and Nice to walk, friendly area and circular walking course. Other animals in the area and all under adult supervision. Everyone picks up the waste."
  • Daryl R.
"Whitman is off the beaten path, it’s a quiet neighborhood that used to be South Abington and should go back to being part of. It doesn’t have its own school (for a long time now) and so if your a parent with kids and can afford it go to Hanover where the schools are great and there are things to do. "
  • Lauren P.
"Love this town grew up here. Lots of friends and family still here. The people are super, and the town has a lot of history if you know anything about New England."
  • Brian B.
"commuter rail is available, Rt 18, 14, 27, 58 run through town. easy commute to Boston or Providence, RI or Cape Cod and the Southcoast."
  • Gregory S. S.
"Whitman is nice but not convenient it isn’t close to any major highways and makes commuting just a little more difficult but if you are ok with the commuter rail then you’ll be fine "
  • Jen M.
"we've lived here in the same street Stetson Street for 5 years it's our home my son is acclimated and completely involved with school and sports and it has been my goal to stay in Whitman I and my son love our town. since Whitman is small we enjoy going to the town pool playgrounds we take walks all the time with our dog. I feel safe allowing my son to ride his bike to the town park to play with his friends. My son has been on the swim team he goes to the camp right in Whitman.... we're involved in the community and we again we love it!"
  • Linda G.
"Whitman is a wonderful community of people who almost everyone knows each other. Quiet, and fairly well maintained by the town. A great place to raise a family, work and live."
  • Brendan K.
"there is a nice park and little downtown area in the center. it is a nice place to walk your dog or take your kids to the playground. "
  • Redneckscoobs05
"Iv lived in Whitman for 14 years its a small semi-quiet place (sound depends on where you live). The schools are nice and they are nice."
  • Karencsilva
"The town park is beautiful and within walking distance of “downtown”. Family owned pharmacy & breakfast place in center of town. Nice restaurant & bar as well. Great schools & church community here as well"
  • Kayla S.
"Nothing really it’s a totally normal town. Average. Boring town. With some things around food streets "
  • Carliehennebury
"Its a nice quiet suburb with a cute little quaint town center with plenty of places for food! Love the thai place! I am from the city and this is a nice place right off the main road but not in a main area! "
  • Hoodie3334
"I grew up on the street and know a few of the people left. but the town is the small town feel. it is safe and quiet. there is a lot of community spirit "
  • Adrienne P. M.
"This neighborhood is made up of two loops and a cul-de-sac. There are many families with children. Everyone walks their dog and cleans up after them. Yards are neat and clean. The developer must have had an affinity for trees as the whole neighborhood has the most colorful pallette of Cherry trees, red maple, mimosa, and others. Drive through in the spring, summer and fall and be dazzled! "
  • Sue
    "Quiet and interesting, many opportunities."
