The neighborhood is great! All of the neighbors are friendly, the next block has an annual block party for everyone in the neighborhood.

The streets are safe and I frequently walk in the very early morning or at night without any concern.

The mountain trails are within 2 miles, Altadena has a quaint business district, but is also only minutes from Pasadena and La Canada which offer more choices.

The only area of concern is there are wild animals living in the area; coyotes, bears, bobcats, skunk, opossum, rattlesnake and deer. Dogs and cats should never be left unmonitored in their yards, as they may be eaten or injured by coyotes at any time of the day."
