2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageClaxton Elementary is the absolute worst school my child has attended. There is little to no diversity within the teaching staff, and it has always been this way. The majority of the students who are minorities do not get the opportunity to learn from teachers that look like them. There are a plethora of overly qualified, and exceptionally gifted minority teachers that are not selected to teach there. The principal has done a poor job of seeing to it that the virtual students receive a top education, as well as socialization while students and parents both deal with the new normal from Covid-19. I have spent hundreds of dollars to ensure that my child does not fall behind. Additionally, there's no way that the virtual school aka PLP platform can work without the full guidance and instruction of the parent/guardian.
