6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy nephew finished his kindergarten here at STEAM with Ms Pligml- she’ one of the best Teacher. Principal, Teachers and Staff were the best. Respectful, INCLUSIVE, Accommodating. Maybe the location of the school is not that great but other than that, I have nothing but great things to say about this school.Parent Review1mo ago - Auburn High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat the overall report does not take into account is the presence of gifted program at Auburn. Make no mistake, it is a very academically challenging program, but has a national reputation for turning out competitive students many of whom end up at Ivy League schools with full scholarships. Unfortunately, the rest of the student body does not perform at the level of the students in the gifted program for a variety of socioeconomic reasons. Please take these factors into consideration when looking into sending your student to AuburnParent Review1y ago - West View Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile I was not only bullied by the students but also the teachers I attended this school from 1st to 5th grade and I’m disgusted on how much the teachers pick favorites and bully students and it’s sad to say I was bullied by grown adults don’t you think. I do think it’s an okay learning environment but I got most of my metal health problems because of this school. But again it’s not only the teachers that make the school bad but it’s the students but the only teacher I felt helped and listened to their students was my 2nd grade teacher I wish I had better things to say about this school but again it could have changed because I left years ago.Other Review1y ago - West Middle School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHand down, this is the best school in Illinois. I am from the suburbs of Chicago, and I believe this school is the best! Students are expected to perform at a high level and if they cannot take it then they have an option to leave. My older child feels high school is a breeze because of what he had learned in the gifted school.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 3016 Latham St.

"I work 5 minutes away and work in the school district, but I drive my kids to school because I don’t trust the school district bus. They both also go to two different schools, and both start at two different times. My teaching schedule doesn’t fit their schedules this year because the school district decided to start school later than last year, and much later start on Thursdays this year. Having to run around early in the morning is no problem, since where I live right now is close to major intersections. "
