"Cute little neighborhood, you might run into one or two other dogs when you go for a walk. Some neighbors do let their dogs run around and bark in the front yard which causes my dogs to stir "
  • FARMLIFEFUN
"my neighborhood has free public transportation nearby that has great hours and is on time...buses ate clear and drivers are courteous "
  • Jean C. R.
"You see people walking their dogs all the time. Most people are responsible pet owners and you can find waste stations throughout. "
  • Mariell R.
"You have to have a car. Everything is not at walking distance. My favorite thing about CH is the green spaces, parks and college vibe "
  • Catherine M.
"The schools are good. People are very family oriented but there is also the presence of younger people because of the university. Many graduate students live in this area."
  • Natalia S.
"Great neighborhood for younger kids especially. The HOA takes care of the neighborhood well and everyone stays connected. We love trick-or-treating and our Friday night potlucks! The play structure and picnic area are great for kids and the green is perfect for dog owners."
  • Bo F.
"Less than a mile away. I ride my bike to and from work. I also ride to and from the grocery stores. "
  • Norman G.

  • Mary T.
"on main bus line, sidewalks, bike lanes . walkable to schools, farmer's market, downtown, Carr Mill Mall, stores and restaurants, party spots."
  • Sewwee D.
"Carrboro is a wonderful, progressive community to raise a family in and Wexford is a beautiful neighborhood to live in. It's an active community full of families and people out biking, walking and running. Lots of trees."
  • gcbright
"Chosen for my retirement area. Very walkable with UNC Heathcare one bus stop away for both Hospital and Same Day Clinic."
  • Steevie J. P.
"I have lived here for ten years, and I have only positive things to say about living here. The neighbors are wonderful, the houses are nice, and it's a great place to raise children."
  • Steevie J. P.
"I live near this neighborhood. It's very calming, but I have heard that there is some petty crime at times. It's within walking distance of the town of Carrboro, and has a nice small town feel about it. It's right near the old Johnny's Bait shop which has now become a cafe of sorts. It is also near a nice cafe called The Looking Glass Cafe, as well as the Carrboro Town Hall and Park across the street where a number of neighborhood festivals are held. Great neighborhood, but I am not sure about young children on that particular block which seems to be populated by singles and retirees."
