Discipline problems are swept to a corner and go no further than the administration’s desk. You will not be allowed to voice your own professional opinion on any matter. Only a few do the work of so many. There is a reason they offer incentives to stay or apply for a position. That’s always a red flag at a school. The current administration operates with gaslighting techniques and not a fair exchange of ideas. Students who have more intellectual pursuits are completely overlooked in favor of those in sports. The special ed students are given regular ed teachers on paper only. Teachers are forced to attend IEP meetings for special ed students they never even met, and forced to sign documents regarding these students. Another red flag? "Lots of through traffic in the neighborhood and the train is a nightmare. Barton and Paul Maillard are the only streets that connect river road and hwy 90 so there is a lot of speeding traffic through here. It’s dangerous to check the mail and would never have outdoor pets in this area "

"People walk their dogs all over all the time. The park is a great place to go with your dog. As long as your dog is leashed, nobody seems to mind. "

"Luling is a Great place to raise a family and Ashton Plantation is the top neighborhood in the area with a prime location right off the freeway and only 10 minutes to New Orleans International airport. Good schools, nice parks , fishing lake, and one of the best recreational departments in metro NO area."

"I’ve lived in Luling for 6 months. Not a lot around besides a Walmart and some family owned places. It’s about 30mins to any other stores and 40mins to downtown New Orleans."

"The area is secluded. Set back off main roads but has access to main roads. Access to grocery stores, home improvement stores nearby. Safe area and quiet. Low traffic on the street. Parks and playground are within 10 minutes. It is also within minutes areas to fish Some bank fishing other areas would require a boat. Many local restaurants serving traditional Cajun delicacies, fast food and Italian cuisine. Regular patrol by local police."
