Exceptional 1849 Greek Revival townhome. Boasting one of the most sought-after locations in the Brooklyn Heights area, this property was the frontispiece of Clay Lancaster's 1979 book, "Old Brooklyn Heights" and is also mentioned in the AIA Guide to NYC as one of two buildings on Monroe Place "worth seeing". It has also been included in the annual Brooklyn Heights house tour. The front garden is one of the most photographed in the area and a goldfish pond adds to its allure. There are a total of 8 working fireplaces throughout the building.
