I used to be a student at this shook and I hated it. The teachers were mostly bad and some were really nice. The students around me were so rude and harmful. They would always bully and hurt other students around me and others. The new principal, Mr. Chan or chen is bad, I have realized myself that he only cares about the school reputation and not the students. When another student attacked me I had to run home because of how scared i was. Two students that I thought were my friends followed me half way and kicked me before running off back to school so they wouldn’t get caught…when I ran home to my mom she was furious and had to call my dad to get out of work to come with me back to the school to help me. One of my closest best friends who tried to help me, their mom came along too with her grandma to support and help me. I was in pain. When we arrived back to the school with my parents and them, the principal was “too busy” and “ was in a meeting” ! Who does that ! And he is a principal! I was halfway through seventh grade and had to experience this….i got transferred to a much better school! Ms447!! It is much cleaner with better teachers and students!!!! I graduated with my now even most closest friends…I have never felt so happy! ( I don’t recommend this school ) P.S I was a student…

For an art school you really question doing art in the first place. Also for some reason no teacher is ever available when you need them, strange.

I have a 3rd grader and a 1st grader at PS 118 and we absolutely love the school and the community. The teachers are wonderful, caring, and patient. It’s a small school, but that makes it feel more like a family. It’s nice to send your kids to a school where everyone knows them, even across the grades. Highlights for my kids have been the science lab, theater program, and chess club. The PTA is very active and sponsors a lot of fantastic programming, as well as fun community events. Would highly recommend this special school!
