We have a lovely, updated, charming Joesler-style late 1930s home for rent on 4th street in the heart of Sam Hughes, located in central Tucson, less than 3/4 mile from the U of A. This is one of the nicest rental properties in the area.

This home features: three bedrooms and two bathrooms, an elegant living room with fireplace, built-in bookshelves and high, hand-carved beamed ceilings, a formal dining room that can seat at least 10 people, matte-finish red oak wood floors, a breakfast area, a newer kitchen with newer appliances, central AC and evaporative cooling. This home has newer paint throughout and newer tile floors in the kitchen and breakfast area. There is also a laundry room with a newer high-efficiency washer and dryer.

All of the bedrooms have private access from inside and outside of the home. The bedroom that faces 4th street makes an excellent office for a therapist, consultant, etc., because it can be entered from the front without having to walk through the home.

There are also two covered patios--one in the front and one in the back. The home has lovely Mediterranean drought-tolerant landscaping on an automatic drip system. There is also a guest house in the back that is rented on a month-to-month basis to a quiet, professional young man. If you also need the guest house, we can discuss the options. There is off-street covered parking in the back for your two cars.
