About this House

Patterson Park is an oasis and re-energizing center to the Charm City of Baltimore. Patterson Park has running and walking trails, softball/soccer/turf fields, tennis/basketball courts, dog park, an ice skating rink, an outdoor pool, and even more! This beautiful three bedroom house was previously renovated in amazing detail by a working professional, who is a chef at heart. The kitchen is extra-ordinary with high-end appliances and a kitchen that is unique! The kitchen has brand new stone countertops and a central island with bar chairs. Painstaking details include custom wood herring-bone sliding bathroom doors, original heart-pine wood floors, and bathrooms filled with custom ceramic tiles to encourage relaxation. There is a quiet deck off the rear 1st floor door with a small grill, and there is a private parking pad suitable for small and mid-sized cars and accessed thru a low-traffic alley. with an enclosed fence.

Upstairs on the second floor there are two bedrooms with a large bathroom, with custom tub in the middle. Next to the bathroom is a washer/dryer closet. The front bedroom has park views of lush trees and folks taking their dogs on walks, and the rear bedroom is cozy and quiet, and occasionally has been used as an office. The third floor is one huge master suite with an oversized bedroom overlooking the park above the trees, and a large middle room to lounge, or exercise, and there is a small coffee bar area with stone countertop, under-counter frig, and sink with coffee maker. The bathroom has double sinks, a large vanity for storage, and a huge shower with full-wall-height tile and glass doors, Every bedroom room in the house has its own closet.

The basement is unfinished and is excellent for storage, and some extra cleaning supplies and tools are kept in the basement for Traveler use. (The peloton bike seen in a couple of the pictures is not at the property anymore, however linens and towels are provided in this furnished house and the kitchen is stocked with basics: non-perishables such as pots/pans/plates/cups/mugs/utensils, etc. and long shelf-life food staples such as salt/pepper/spices and coffee.) All mechanical systems are in the basement for easy access when preventative maintenance or regular repairs are needed. The street borders the North side of Patterson Park, and there is a city policy of no buses or trucks on this street so it is quiet and easy to navigate. The neighbors have wonderful sidewalk/stoop gardens and from the front door you look out across the street and see Patterson Park.

The house is wired for internet, but due to the variance in internet plans that residents choose, the utility fee does not include internet cost. Some residents choose to use cellular data plans only, and others choose the fastest internet speed possible. Additionally, due to the variance in modem/wi-fi devices, we have found it is best for everyone if the internet decision, and cost, is left to the residents. The local internet provider that most residents choose is Comcast/Xfinity, and they are able to bring internet to the house usually within a day or two of a phone call. We are here to assist with any coordination or location information as needed.

I have been a property manager for over a decade and have a full team of repair and maintenance companies to take care of anything you need. Included in the utilities is a monthly professional cleaning service. My wife and I still live in Baltimore and we can provide tips and tricks to the city so you can experience Baltimore like a local. The historic Fells Point harbor neighborhood is a short one mile stroll through classic Baltimore residential streets (and begins with a half-mile walk thru the 160 acre Patterson Park). The closest grocery store is a Safeway with lots of parking less than a mile away, and there is a little convenience store two blocks away, with a handful of restaurants within a couple blocks.

The house is fully furnished for your needs.

Available furnished or unfurnished. Tenant pays gas and electric. Owner pays water. Security deposit and first month required.

"Lived here for three years and love it. It’s placed a couple blocks from the line of gentrification so the environment can change quickly. Wife and i feel very safe during the day but she would not walk alone at night. Great location to walk to canton. Extremely close to Patterson park. And a short Uber ride to anywhere in Baltimore city."
  • ravensfan0606
"I love the little nook that is the North East corner of Patterson Park. I, and my fiancee, feel safe whenever we walk somewhere, and the pets and I love the park accessibility. Just don't try to use public transportation from around here!"
  • Tim K.
"close to park, great restaurant within four blocks, hopkins bus close by"
  • evabrian
"I've lived in this neighbborhood for 7 years now and I've loved every second of it. Excellent community feel and involvement, friendly neighbors, easy and convenient transportation and I always feel safe. The best things about Canton are the great big park to run and play in, the ability to walk to entertainment and the beautiful waterfront, and of course the people. Canton embodies the "charm" in charm city, Baltimore!"
