The park also features free public BBQ's and a playground and is a favorite for holding kids birthday parties. In wintertime, Shady Rest is a top spot for x-c skiing, too.

    "If you’re wealthy and you know how to manage HOA condominium complexes if that’s where you choose to live then you should be OK. However, if you are a labor or an undocumented citizen, this is a very expensive town to live in. The police department is very responsive and for the most part, the town is very safe, however if you don’t have a whole lot of money, don’t expect much help from local government or authorities"
