The quality of the school as a recent graduate was average at best and saddening at worst. I will only talk about eighth grade overall because i best remember it. The eighth grade teachers try their best but lash out often (usually for good reasons and intentions) However work at times can feel repetitive and some assignments are never graded or checked (mostly in Social Studies and Reading) which leads to alot of frustration among the students, leading to lackluster effort in work. Additionally, this applies to math and mathematics only, our teacher very poorly taught and reviewed the subject. She sped ran the teaching of it, creating confusion and overall suffering because of our lack of time to process the information and lack of good teaching for us to understand it. The teachers have empathy for the students, giving us break time after stressful periods such as CPS testing. The teachers tried incorporating fun projects and work at some points but I think we should've had more creative projects that made us truly think about it. Our prep teachers were okay overall, however some can be unnecessarily rude and mean and times. Actually, a good amount of faculty were unreasonably rude and disrespectful towards students yet expected respect from said students they disrespected. Most of the students is just friends with others of the same race and mild discrimination (usually jokes but some people are just racist/other discrimination). Anyways this school was fine
