About this House
To schedule a tour send me a text with names of all people, pet situation if any, desired lease length, furnished or unfurnished. There is also a 460 sq/ft studio lower level with 1 bath + kitchenette that can be included for another $1200/mo (see photos).
FURNISHED (or can be unfurnished too depending on lease length)!
Super cute house with tall ceilings and original 1904 hardwood floors, conveniently house located on E Union St at the intersection of Madrona, Madison Valley and Capitol Hill. Close to many grocery stores: PCC, Grocery Outlet, Safeway, Trader Joes. Many bars, restaurants and parks all within walking distance. Along major bus lines to downtown, hospitals and major Universities. Fenced front yard. Backyard goes out to driveway with 2 parking spaces along alleyway.
This home features to two separate living spaces - there is no connection between the two from the inside. I've had couples use the lower floor as yoga/workout space, a "guesthouse", office space, gamer room, movie lounge or simply extra storage - but you cannot sublease, rent or AirBnB it. I have also had roommates split top and bottom, or a couple with a 3rd wheel friend.
Top floor (the original house):
- 960 sq/ft
- Tall ceilings (10 feet)
- 1 bed, 1 bath
- Gas forced air heating + Nest thermostat
- Flooring is mostly the original hardwood, bathroom is slate tile, and kitchen+laundry is vinyl plank (best I've seen)
- Full kitchen w new Gas Range (I would also like to put in a new refrigerator down the road)
- Dishwasher
- Dining/lounge area
- Living room
- Floor to ceiling sliding glass door goes out to deck w/ bench seating and BBQ (facing Union St)
- Covered porch
- Deck goes down to patio
- Patio flows to turf yard
- Washer/dryer
- Dishwasher
Bottom floor: (crawl space renovated to studio apartment in 2010)
- 460 sq/ft
- Vinyl plank throughout (not the shiny crappy kind that is basically laminate)
- Half bath (shower only, no tub)
Utilities not included.
- Electric stovetop and oven
- Electric wall heaters (this stays cool in the summer and warms up pretty well without turning the heat on in the winter)
Renter is responsible for all utilities. No smoking allowed inside.
