8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended AMS and the Administration and Staff have poor advice and are not very supportive of the issues that go around in the school, there have been many bullying and harassment issue that were brought to their attention that have been swept under the rug and handled poorly which have left students to act out with their own matters because of it. I have been told by Admin to basically to deal with it myself and denied by Administrators over and over again when I've came to them about the bullying and harassment it's gotten to a point where I didn't feel safe walking around my own school. The principal and Vice Principal/ Assistant Principal have lied numerous time with these situations to make their poor decision look different or justify their wrongs. There has been proof of threats lobbed and thrown on social media and in text that were shown and nothing was done or brought up about it. A lot of issues and concerns have been swepted under the wrong and brushed off. I have found roaches and mice in corner of rules there's even a roach in a camera. The bathroom are often out of soap and paper towels and the feminine hygiene product dispensers are often empty. But they do have them in the School store, you don't have to pay for them. Teachers are committed to helping the students win and follow up with supportive reinforcement to make it happen. We especially appreciate the concern for children as people and not just academic status. "I moved here to get a better commute to downtown. It was better, but started to have a lot of am lane closures on Route 3. Congested on big shopping days from folks parking in front is stores. I wish law enforcement or security would move them along. "

"I specifically chose this area because it has great schools and it is very diverse. Gambrills also has great shopping (Waugh Chapel is so convenient... it does come with a little traffic congestion but I think it's worth it!) while still maintaining the comfortable "neighborhood" feeling. I love it!"

"Dog owners would love the available paths and the friendly neighbor within the hood. There have been instances where people with u trained dogs will cross the street or steer clear of you. If you want to socialize your dog there are dog parks where they can roam freely."

"I travel twenty miles towards The nations capital. It is light traffic in the morning and a parking lot in the afternoon. There are four lanes of crazies going 80+ miles per hour. It takes a minuet to get used to then you become one yourself."
