Looking for a place to call home with no HOA and a large yard? This is it! 3/2 plus the lower level which has a kitchenette and could easily become a 4th bedroom,man-cave area or with the addition of a bathroom, it could become a separate living area with it's own entry. The laundry room resides in the lower level as well. The main level has 18x18 tile and hardwood flooring. The roomy great room has a vaulted ceiling which is perfect for hanging out with friends and family. The eat-in breakfast area abuts the kitchen and boasts warm cabinetry with black granite and black/stainless steel appliances with the refrigerator remaining. Down the hall are the bedrooms. The secondary bedrooms share the hall bathroom. The nicely sized primary bedroom and bathroom with a newer vanity. Seller has made the following recent upgrades and improvements: new entry light fixture; installed new medicine cabinets in both bathrooms; built a partial privacy fence in the backyard; installed a security system with sensors on all lower level windows; repainted entry door and outside handrails on the porch. Additionally, the property extends beyond the back fence through to the next street.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are pros and cons when it comes to this school. I’m a Former student currently and nobody really know what goes on in this school in a students perspective. Parents won’t understand the type of frustration and depression kids get from this school. Definitely bullies here and would make you feel like you don’t belong whatsoever. Although, SOME teachers are very supportive and great at teaching! Others not so much. Racism still goes on they show bias towards some students. I wouldn’t recommend but if you want to try it out be my guest.Student Review11mo ago - Irma C. Austin Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school failed to provide what was needed for my student to thrive. Yes, there are a few awesome teachers, but with the current administration, this school is going downhill fast. We loved the elementary school in the area, but are finding an alternative option for actual parent and student support. I would not recommend this school to any family that needs any kind of educational support, because you will absolutely not get it. They need a new principal ASAP, if they want to keep any kind of decent rating.Other Review10mo ago - Hal Hutchens Elementary School

"A lot of winding streets and no sidewalks can be a little challenging but other than that no worries."
- Pjlrogers
- Resident

"Dogs on leash and other pets are very welcome. Also recently there have been several dog parks popping up in the neighborhoods which are not only fun for our best friends, but give their owners an opportunity to sit and rest after a busy day and chat with their neighbors if they wish."
- Pjlrogers

"Depends on whether your going to work or shopping and what time of day it is. The work commute can be hairy so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there without taking unnecessary risks. Drive safely, you still have a lot of living to do! Hiram is what I call a “rural suburb” of Atlanta. So even though there are a lot of varied and extensive activities to enjoy in the surrounding area, it is a very short drive to many cultural and art exhibits, theatre productions and family entertainment parks like “Six Flags Over Georgia”. There is no lack of cultural, educational and yes “fun” opportunities in this area. So your commute to work could as long as 1 hour from Hiram to downtown Atlanta, or as short as 10 minutes if your lucky enough to work for the Wellstar Family Medical Practices or Facilities (for example). "The neighborhood is friendly. Some folks walk dogs, and some have their children with them. However, parents should accompany them on walks and to the parks at least until they have met a few people and learned the lay of the land. "
