I was a student here who graduated in 2021. I am Asian and from a mid-upper middle class family, so I’ll let that information about what privileges I have speak for itself. I feel that EBHS was an excellent school with many resources and opportunities that enable me to do my best and achieve my best. I never had much of a problem with any teacher or any class. I was pushed and challenged in a healthy way that definitely enabled me to succeed. 10/10 on college readiness—great grades mean great scholarships.

Some teachers get into teaching and want the students to participate and care for the student's grades. Other teachers teach but don't care about how bad the student's grade is. There is a reason for this. Teachers want to prepare students for the real world. Your boss won't help you if you don't pay attention during training because that is on you. That's what teachers at this school are doing, they are making students own up to their own mistakes and want students to be aware of their progress. Staff want students to be independent and understand what they can do to better themselves - what studying tactics work for you so you can be successful. This school hires teachers who do this job because they want their students to become the best they can be. However, the school overdoes the coming together. Counselors at Churchill do a Day of Silence for support for LGBTQ+ students and staff to show their support. Students can participate by getting a sticker and at the end of the day, everyone who participated screams and the staff gives out food for like a party. But, students will just "participate" to just get the free food. The reason for that is because, as students, we just don't care. Students don't care what others' gender identity is because it doesn't involve them - it isn't their problem. The district, in all, tries too hard to "unite" the students, but it doesn't work because the students don't want to. So the school at this point should just save money and decrease what they're doing in this branch because it doesn't make as severe of an impact as they were hoping.Overall the school is fine, there are a lot of clubs and sports offered so your child is able to do what they like and what they're interested in.

I hate this school. It honestly is full of bullying. The staff does not keep the kids safe if they tell on the bullies so they have to fight their way out. Bullying is crazy and sometimes it makes me feel depressed. If the kids fight though then they get suspended.

If I could give Lawrence Brook Elementary School a 10, I would. This school, the teachers, staff, principal, and security were a pleasure to deal with. Our daughter had an amazing educational and SEL experience here. Her teachers were so caring and gentle with her. Principal Dunn was AMAZING!!! We were saddened when the school went from K-5 to K-4 because we were looking forward to her spending her 5th-grade year here. We love how diverse the school community was. Our favorite was when the school had an international night before COVID-19. We will always have great memories of the school.
