Read what parents are saying about Churchill Junior High SchoolThe teachers are rude and lazy they do not care in the slightest and will yell at your child for not understanding the concepts some do not teach at all rather handing the child a textbook and telling them to teach themselves would not reccomend.
Posted by a community member on 7/12/2022This school is awful, just plain awful. The teachers here have no idea how to teach, they sit down on their butts and put up a slideshow and call it done, and are very rude to children who don't understand the concept and ask questions. Cockroaches all over the school and in lockers (I'm not even kidding ask anyone), and overpriced lunches for bad quality. Nothing is really good about this school, plus every kid is rude and nasty. I do not recommend this school at all please for the sake of your child bring them somewhere else.
Posted by a community member on 10/24/2014This school is pretty good! I feel with anything you have to be active and stay involved and stay in contact with your teachers. Let's not get it twisted these are still children and even though they are getting older they still need our parental guidance! Our children's education at this school or any other school will be what we as a whole make it out to be.
Posted by a parent on 7/21/2014This school is horrible. This teacher not saying any names (sulva) is really mean and rude to her students. She is always in a bad mood and she is always putting her students down. Trust me and then this language arts teacher Diaz doesn't teach at all I've never gotten below a b in any of my language arts classes until I had her I now have A 60 and I've done all my homework and study for all my tests. Just letting some people know

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Parkview school for two months during her kindergarten year. Those short two months exceeded my expectations by far and was very impressed by her teacher’s nurturing nature as well as the expansive material covered over the two months. The transition to my daughters new school, a blue ribbon school, was thankfully very smooth and successful which from my perspective is indicative Milltown’s curriculum is in line and at par with other blue ribbon recognized schools.Parent Review1y ago - Woodrow Wilson Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI currently have two children attending Woodrow Wilson and they love it. I have to say I was a bit nervous about sending them to school in this district however I am pleasantly surprised at how much the school has grown on me. My children have been there for about 4 years now and every single teacher they have had, I loved. There is great communication throughout and my kids have great friends and are doing very well academically.Parent Review3mo ago - South River Primary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA longtime resident of South River and both my children grew up in South River. They both attended universities and are now working as engineers. I believe this school system provided what my children needed to learn and thrive. I recommend this school and applaud its staff for doing underappreciated work each and every day for the betterment of society as a whole.Parent Review11mo ago - Central Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAwful school. They crossed the line where my parental rights were concerned. Their district did the same. They should be ashamed of themselves, but they're not, that's the problem.Parent Review6mo ago - Lawrence Brook Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could give Lawrence Brook Elementary School a 10, I would. This school, the teachers, staff, principal, and security were a pleasure to deal with. Our daughter had an amazing educational and SEL experience here. Her teachers were so caring and gentle with her. Principal Dunn was AMAZING!!! We were saddened when the school went from K-5 to K-4 because we were looking forward to her spending her 5th-grade year here. We love how diverse the school community was. Our favorite was when the school had an international night before COVID-19. We will always have great memories of the school.Parent Review6mo ago - Memorial Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe district is going downhill. It boast its "blue ribbon" status but the only reason academic scores are high is because the wealthy professionals are able to hire their kids tutors. The students who cannot afford tutors are left behind as there are no after school tutoring clubs. The teachers here are rude and lazy, do not attend this district unless you can afford your child a tutorOther Review2y ago - Darul Arqam School
