"Porch rocker is fun, musicians play on the porches in the neighborhood. Sometimes there are food truck events too"
  • Elainefilipski55
"Be cautious what area you move to. Highland Square and Fairlawn are better areas. If not go to Cuyahoga Falls or further North."
  • Aleeyah Powers
"It’s a very cute neighborhood, I love living in this neighborhood, I live here now, and I just love everything about kenmore "
  • Crystalmpenrod85
"Lots of church’s and community center holds events for little kids and senior citizens. The man up youth group is for teens "
  • Crystalmpenrod85
"I have lived in this neighborhood for 7 years. I think of some neighbors as friends we help each other out. While there is a lot of crime and it tends to be dangerous. It would be a nice place if the city invested more and if the police didn’t avoid patrolling around here "
  • Trulia User
"Certain areas are nicer than others but the crime is everywhere. Definitely worse the closer you live to kenmore. "
  • Trulia User
"This really isn’t a good neighborhood to live in. It didn’t use to be this bad but the crime is horrible there’s no police presence so the stores and gas stations always get robbed and the city of akron does nothing to help this neighborhood. Summit county the county where the neighborhood is doesn’t do anything to help anyone. There are very little programs yet poverty everywhere. You wanna limit crime ease the poverty and add more police presence. That’s why nice neighborhoods are nice they have police and city investments "
  • Trulia User
"there is always a tree lighting at christmas and they do activities in the community center for the kids during holidays "
  • Trulia User
"I live in this neighborhood and hear gun shots almost weekly want out of this area so I can feel safer for myself and my family and friends "
  • Trulia User
"This is Not a safe place to walk with or without your dog. Yards are not big enough for a larger dog"
  • Trulia User
"People returned my dog every time he got out his fence. Everyone’s dogs are very friendly and clean "
  • Trulia User
"it is a nice area for walking your dog, dogs seem to like the area, it is a very pet friendly neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"there is no community events besides community theifs if it isn't bolted down you might as well consider it gone "
  • Trulia User
"There's nothing unique about this neighborhood. It reminds me of Cleveland, OH l, which sometimes is a good thing "
  • Trulia User
"It’s not safe to walk alone. There’s stray dogs that will come up to your door, along with homeless people wandering the streets."
  • Trulia User
"I've lived here for 13yrs kids are not nice, grown up don't speak , it has a nice grocery store, pretty good restaurant "
  • Trulia User
"Most places are okay. Schools not so great, a lot of kids in the area, public library near by, lots of parks and things for kids to do "
  • Trulia User
"I've lived here for over 6 years. Everyone look out for each other. it's a very friendly, neighborhood."
  • Trulia User
"Kids bounce house and events. Stores and schools are close and also the library is on right on the blvd. Very helpful with the children. "
  • Trulia User
"I see people walking their dogs almost daily. Neighbors pick up after their pets. The animals seems well cared for."
  • Sherlygurl12
"I see people walking thier dogs often. Everyone seems to be following the leash laws. Everyone seems to take care of thier pets."
  • Desiree B.
"Not safe. Some streets quiet and well maintained but too much crime to feel comfortable. I am moving ASAP. Loud at night sirens, motorcycles, fireworks. "
  • Paige C.
"My commute isn’t bad. The area is bad. The people are trash and there’s drug dealers everywhere. Not a good place to raise a baby"
  • Bryan M.
"easy highway access and mild traffic for a mid sized city. only minutes from downtown and lots of things to do"
  • Chavonne B.
"A decent community to start a family and stay working. A community that keeps to thy self for the most part. Slightly nosy when unusual things sound off, but glance from a distance. "
  • Greg T. T.
"violent neighborhood. I absolutely hate it. drugs, theft, violence. I am doing everything to get my wife and child out of this city. "
  • Blaise M.
"the public schools in this district are failing and therefore I think it should be an over improvement withn the Akron public School district "
  • Michael A.
"There are always people walking around here to either go to the store or head to the walking path on the old canal."
  • Scott R.
"cant wait to get out of here, loaded with druggies and crazies. garbage laying on the sidewalks and front yards. just not a good place to move unless you have no other choices."
  • Michael A.
"I have lived here now for 5 years and have had no problems. There is a house over here that always has a spectacular Halloween display in there yard and it is always a pleasure to see it up."

  • Tompeabney81

  • Alexis C.
"i commute by bike car or walk. i only use a car when someone else is driving the car. when i walk or bike everything is in walking or biking distance."
