Teacher and staff demand high salaries with large benifits. The past District Superintendent made some very bad choices when it came to closing some of the schools and forcing parents to send their children to schools outside their neighborhoods. The district will take no input from parents. The district continues to look for ways to raise taxes and has been shut down 2 times by tax payers in less than 5 years. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers (and all other staff members) went out of their way to make sure my child and their classmates had access to all of the necessary tools and technologies during the Covid-19 pandemic. The district also provided meals even though students were not able to attend full time in person. I’m so proud of the school district and so proud of Grigsby Intermediate School as well! "We moved in area about 5 yrs ago. Nobody bothers our stuff or us. Neighbors stay to their selfs but will speak if seen.And when deciding that we needed a larger house. Let me tell ya it was a learning experiences but that made us decide we knew the area & moved 2 blocks away from 1st original place."
