What Locals Say about Pontoon Beach

  • J.mccowan.oliver
"There are a lot of new families in our Subdivision, because they went on and prebuilt the houses on all the vacant lots. We never had kids out here for Halloween, but this Year, there were so many, with their little costume on."
  • Rebeka Scarbrough
"We’ve had 3 dogs and a toddler living here and had no concerns for their safety at any point other than the occasional coyote "
  • Ellen D.
"all dogs are welcome here. very animal friendly. must have a poop scoop or some sort of waist devise for feces. "
  • Michele C.
"My neighborhood has horrible access to public transportation. The nearest bus stop is a mile away. There needs to be a grocery store with produce in pontoon "
  • O’Reagan W.
"This place is getting scary to live in!... there is no grocery store or pharmacy just two Denny’s restaurants within a mile of each other, an abundance of gas stations, motels and police due to drugs and crime. "
  • Jared R.
"There is nothing here but gas stations, hotels, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and two Denny’s within a mile of each other and warehouses. Drugs are a big problem here. I wouldn’t live here if I had any other choice. Do NOT buy here. "
  • Trisha R.
"Be careful lots of strays, keep dog on a leash or close by in my opinion. Some owners are different than others, but still keep them close to your side at all times or on a chain if you don’t have the luxury of a fenced in yard. Lost of stray cats to, or outside cats that the owners don’t keep track of so it’s likely they’ll run off, or chase after them if your not careful"
  • Wanettakilzer
"it's friendly and quite with a nice view of the lake. I can go for walks at night and feel safe. I can let my grandchildren play outside with no worries."
  • Allencatie
"my neighborhood is all retired old people who call the police on you for fostering dogs and having branches in your yard the day after a storm. 10/10 do not recommend."
  • laurenmartins
"Beautiful, park-like lots. Single family homes only. Private road owned by homeowners. Dead end street. Perfect for families with children. All but two homes built after 1997."
