Looking for a roommate to split costs for a 2,600+ square-foot townhome in the Whittier Community, near Fort Detrick and less than 15min from downtown Frederick!
The home itself is 3 stories with large spacious rooms and lots of natural light. It includes a large dine-in kitchen fully stocked, furnished living room, large enclosed patio with garden beds, 4 bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms. You would have one reserved parking spot near the front door, and there is additional guest parking available in the community.
Shared spaces include kitchen, main-level living room, half-bath, patio, and laundry room. Private spaces are negotiable, and include at least one private bedroom with full bath, with the option for a second private bedroom at an additional cost. Move in date is flexible.
There are a couple options for how we divvy up the private rooms:
- The basement has a private bedroom with closet and a private full bathroom with shower+tub. There is also an extra large living area with high ceilings in the basement that would be mostly private, except when someone needs to use the laundry room or walking out to the patio.
- On the upper level, there is one giant master bedroom (that is large enough to be both a bedroom and private livingroom space), two large walk-in closets, and an en-suite full bathroom with standing shower and deep soaking tub.
- Also on the upper level are two small bedrooms (good for an office or guestroom) with closets, and one additional full bathroom with shower+tub on this level. If wanted, you could also rent one of these bedrooms for an additional fee.
About Me:
I am a single female in my 30s that works from home most days. I have 2 cats (short-haired), am a non-smoker, respectful, and tidy. In my spare time I like to grow vegetable in the garden, hike, cook, check out new coffee shops or breweries, or binge-watch the latest series. I like meeting new people, and respect having our alone-time as well.
The landlord is great - friendly, makes repairs, doesn't increase rent, and never shows up unannounced. Though he is requiring that a new tenant complete an application with him, where he will look at your credit score, income, and preform a background check.
