"They are a lot of off-leash dogs wandering around so pet owners should be careful. Also there is so much dog poop on the sidewalks and in grass!!! People need to clean up after their dogs. "
  • Nicole Slinky Michael
"It’s a quiet neighborhood. Great for walking dogs or if you just want a tranquil walk on your own."
  • Estrellaclaudio979
"My neighborhood is unique because the people in this area are friendly and the streets are safe The places to hang out are almost always clean and there's hardly any trash in the streets; everyone follows the rules. "
  • Skye James
    "It's fair , much access to public transportation and major expressways. 280 , 21, GSP , 78 , 22 , 46 are all just minutes away "
  • Brenton Osborne
"Many Caribbean and international food options to choose from and family friendly environment. Hospitals, police departments, libraries, court house, pharmacy all in close proximity."

"People walk their dogs in the park and on the streets . Most of the dogs are small. I never see anyone without a leash "
  • Orlando V.
"My commute is not bad. We are right off the parkway and route 280. The parking situation is HORRIBLE. How does the city have street cleaning between 2 am and 6 am? We all struggle to find parking since we all have to park on one side of the street, I mean, MOST people work during the day. I have seen neighbors arguing over parking spaces. I had never heard of street cleaning in the wee hours of the night. We have been here for over 8 years, If I had known about this, I’d probably looked elsewhere for a house. "
  • Cesprit10
"There is access to public transportation but I drive my own car. There are multiple access to various bus services"
  • Julie Chang
"There are many dog owners here but no dog park that I know about. But mostly people seem to pick up after their dogs. "
  • Trulia User
"East Orange has a TON of potential “A TON”. Seriously, East Orange has tremendous potential. With its rich history, strategic location near New York City, and a strong sense of community, the city is poised for incredible growth. The diverse population, beautiful historic architecture, and access to major transportation hubs make it a hidden gem in New Jersey. Revitalization efforts, new developments, and investments in infrastructure can transform East Orange into a hub for arts, culture, and commerce. Its schools, parks, and public services continue to improve, creating opportunities for families, businesses, and entrepreneurs. With the right vision and collaboration, East Orange can truly become a model city of progress and innovation."
  • Charli Penn-watkins
"Very easy and quick driving access to NJT (morris Essex and Montclair Boonton line) which is very convenient. The Bloomfield NJT transit stop is walking distance. "
